Where are you made?
We make all our drinks in London, at an approved food production and licensed premise (we got a 5* Hygiene rating!).
How long do your cocktails stay fresh?
The cocktails stay fresh up to a month in the fridge or longer in the freezer. At room temperature they stay fresh for no longer than 2 weeks. The cocktails won't ever go off or bad, but rather they lose vibrancy and will start to taste old.
Because the pouches are compostable and not plastic, liquid can and will evaporate after 2 weeks at room temperature, which is why we suggest storing them in the fridge or freezer. When storing them in the fridge or freezer they will still slowly evaporate as the pouches are permeable. We don't recommend storing them longer than 2 months.
My drink is cloudy and separated, what gives?
Because we use all natural products and fresh juices our cocktails will separate a bit when they sit.
But fear not! A quick shake and everything will feel right in the world again.
Do your cocktails really fit through a letter box?
Yes, up to nine cocktails fit in a box that will fit through the majority of UK letterboxes.
We use three different size boxes and can fit a different number of cocktails in each.How many cocktails fits in each box depends on the size of each cocktail and how many of those are ordered.
For example, the large box can fit up to 6- 125ml cocktails or 2- 125ml, 6- 100ml, for a total of 8.
Our small box fits 1-2 cocktails and measures 130 mm x 165mm x 23mm
Our medium box fits up to 2-5 cocktails and measures 245mm x 165mm x 23mm
Our large box fits 5-9 cocktails and measures 355mm x 165mm x 32mm
Over nine cocktails has to ship in two boxes, and won't fit through your letterbox.
If you are worried about the box not fitting through the letterbox drop me a line at hello@cocktailsbymail.co.uk and I can double check it all for you and make sure I find the right solution!
Should I keep my drinks in the fridge?
Yes, we recommend keeping them in the fridge or freezer, cold and ready to drink.
But they can be kept at room temperature for a good amount of time, so don't stress if you take them on a road trip or the train.
Oops, I left my drink in the freezer overnight!
No worries, nothing bad will happen it might just get a bit slushy. In fact, go ahead and leave it in there, it will keep it fresh even longer.
How long will it take for my cocktails to arrive?
We ship using Royal Mail Tracked 48 which aims to deliver in 48 hours.
And if you are in a hurry, we offer the option of Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery or Special Delivery.
Orders are posted Monday - Friday, same day if ordered before 1:30pm or the next working day if ordered after.
The good news is even in the event of a slight delay due to couriers, your cocktails will still be in tip top shape when they get to you thanks to the ingredients and packaging methods we use.
When will you send my order?

Can I send Cocktail by Mail as a gift?
Absolutely.
After adding the drinks to your cart you wish to send, check out. There is a box where you can add a personal message, which we will hand write and include in the cocktail box.
Make sure you enter the gift recipients address (over 18s only) in the delivery field.
We won't include any pricing in the box, so don't worry about that.
Do you offer collection or pick-up?
You can purchase our cocktails at our sister business, Wine & Such, in Lee, London.

Can I order a large number of cocktails delivered to different addresses?
Absolutely! Please drop us an email at hello@cocktailsbymail.co.uk or through our contact form and we will work out the best way to accomplish your cocktail goals.

OMG my cocktail came in plastic!
But guess what, it isn't plastic...
The pouches are fully biodegradable packaging made from a range of natural products, including paper, eucalyptus fibre, cassava and corn starch.
HOW FLIPPING GOOD IS THAT
So feel free to chuck them into you compost bin. We would advise disposing of them properly, not just thrown into your backyard. It still takes a while for them to break down and we don't want any little critters nibbling on them.
Some geeky details for you
Our pouches will will return back into water, carbon dioxide (CO2) and biomass without eco-toxicity.
Home Composting – takes less than 26 weeks at ambient temperature (<30ºC)
Industrial Composting – takes less than 12 weeks at 60ºC

Can I return my cocktails?
Due to cocktails being classed as food items, we cannot accept returns.
However, if the product is faulty or defective, please get in touch so we can make it right.
